EarFun, renowned for its wireless audio solutions, has unveiled its latest flagship over-ear headphones, the Wave Pro X, at the IFA 2026 event in Berlin. This cutting-edge model integrates a fusion of dual-driver audio technology, an advanced hybrid active noise cancellation system, AI-driven audio processing, and a notably extended battery life. The Wave Pro X showcases EarFun’s proprietary DCAA acoustic architecture, featuring two independently tuned dynamic drivers and high-purity voice coils, which together aim to deliver a broader soundstage while preserving the clarity of audio across various frequencies.
Equipped with a sophisticated noise cancellation system, the Wave Pro X employs an eight-microphone array alongside real-time processing capabilities. Battery longevity is another standout aspect, with EarFun claiming up to 90 hours of playback on a single charge, and up to 50 hours when active noise cancellation is active. In addition to the launch of the Wave Pro X, EarFun also offered a preview of its upcoming Air Pro 5 true wireless earbuds. These earbuds are anticipated to bring updated sound tuning, active noise cancellation, and adaptive processing. The company collaborated with engineers from Bose Corporation’s Audio Technology division to refine the acoustic engineering, particularly focusing on ANC modeling, tuning, and validation.
