Trailing closely behind, the Szilvásvárad State Forest Railway secured second place, with 24% of participants favoring this route. Its path through the scenic Szalajka Valley to the famed Fátyol Waterfall provides breathtaking views of the surrounding forests, streams, and cliffs, making it a delightful experience for visitors.
In third place, the Gemenc State Forest Railway is celebrated for its unique expedition through Europe’s largest floodplain forest.
